Yellow Jigsaw video nominated for Smiley Charity Film Awards

A short film produced by Yellow Jigsaw for Independent Age and Greater Manchester’s Ageing Hub has been nominated for an award.

The Smiley Charity Film Awards are recognised by both BFI and IMDb and are powered by Smiley® Movement, a platform for initiatives driving positive change.

The video helps to accompany the charity’s written guide, which helps older generations keep well in Winter.

In collaboration with UK Power Networks, the book has practical tips on staying warm and healthy in the winter months.

Grace Dyke, Strategic Director at Yellow Jigsaw, said: “It’s an absolute honour to be nominated and to be able not only to share our video production work, but to highlight the key messages from our partner Independent Age. The guide is invaluable for older generations in Winter and we hope that the film helps people to stay safe, warm and well.”

Round one of voting closes January 12, 2024.
